I hope you are having a great day
Hi all,
In general I hope you are having a great day but also I would like to know how to say this in Spanish!
I think I hope you have a great day is espero que tengas un buen día o un día genial/maravilloso
Actually that is another question, I have heard both the above used, why is it buen día but the other words (genial/maravilloso etc) come after día?
Back to my original question, if you are already half way through the day, how do you say
I hope you are having a great day?
Muchisimas gracias, Zoe

Espero que estés teniendo un buen día....
Espero que estés pasando un buen día...
The reason that "buen" comes first is that it is proper to do so with either "bueno" or "malo."
Both "bueno" y "malo" lose the "o" before a masculine singular noun.
You can also say: Espero que tengas/pases "un día bueno."
The longer adjectives like "fantástico" "genial" or maravilloso usually follow the adjective, but they can also precede.

Thank you very much for the answers ![]()
