Welcome to SpanishDict. Capitalize and punctuate your sentences here. We are a language learning site. Not doing so could confuse members learning English and could possibly get your threads deleted. - rac1, Nov 11, 2015

Welcome to the forum. Please add your level of English and Spanish to your profile. This helps with the way you receive answers.

No tengo is not plural. It is the first person (yo / I ) of the verb tener. In English it means I have.

Now you can have one item or hundreds of items.

If you are describing the things you and a friend have you would say We have/tenemos. This is 1st person plural. You can have one item or hundreds.

As far as your sentence, 'tres' is a number and goes in front of the noun/sustantivos.

If you are serious about learning a language find out the different names for the parts of a sentence and understand what they are eg direct and indirect objects, nouns, adverbs and gerunds (not a full list)

Re "tenemos." You said, "This is 3rd person plural." It's actually the 1st person plural. ;-) - Winkfish, Nov 11, 2015
I was thinking of something else I will amend it! Thanks - Mardle, Nov 11, 2015
