Spanish Workbooks
I am looking for Spanish workbooks with exercises that are used in schools in Spain or other Spanish speaking countries. I am not looking for the English produced books on Amazon. For example if I was living in Spain and was taking Spanish (like our students take english class) What workbooks do they use for grammar and comprehension?
The reason why I ask is that any book produced/printed in the US has english in it, my brain is stuck in the bad habit of translating the english to Spanish. I need to break that habit so I can think better in Spanish. I have Barron's Spanish now, but it is all translating english phrases. I am probably a B1 level. I can definitely carry on basic conversation with native speakers. I have no way to immerse so I have to figure out how to make the next jump without immersion.
I figure if I have to read the instructions in Spanish (with no english help) and then complete the exercises in Spanish it will help get my brain thinking more in Spanish and dropping the middle step of translating everything. I have elementary Spanish readers and I can read Spanish newspapers, I need some workbooks with exercises.
