Hi, for example, would it be:

Nosotros miran la television

OR Miran nosotros la television

The spanish teacher informed us that we must use words like "usted" and "ellos." What would I do here?

Yes, miran does not match nosotros, televisión carries an accent, and the first sounds to me like an attempt at a statement, and the second an attempt at a question. :) - bosquederoble, Nov 7, 2015

Welcome to the forum. Can you complete on your profile your level of Spanish and English? what has your teacher asked you to do? You have called your thread yes and no answers - so are you trying to write questions?

Nosotros is the Spanish equivalent of we, but Miran is the 3rd person plural of mirar (Ellos./ellas/ustedes) in other words they.

If you want us to help you need to explain what you have been asked to do, have a go at doing it then ask for someone to say if it is correct.

Learning a language takes time and the reason teachers ask you to answer questions is to test if you understood. It is part of a teachers skill to explain in another way something you have not understood.

No sé. Think about what you usually do, and what others usually do... Who watches telly and who doesn't? A yes or no is hardly sufficient.
