Martini Flight / Wine Flight

Question

How would I say, "martini flight" or "wine flight" in Spanish? A flight is a serving of three small drinks. I believe direct translation would be "vuelo de martini". Is that acceptable or does it miss the intended meaning?

Daniela, a wine (beer, martini) flight is a presentation of multiple (usually 3) wines (beers, martinis) to taste and compare. Often a special holder for the glasses is used. - jtaniel, Nov 3, 2015

I don't think ' vuelo de vino' would be understood. I had to look up ' Wine flight' , I had never come across this, clearly I move in the wrong circles. In Spanish I have little doubt that you would do better with ' cata de vinos' or 'desgustación de vinos' . Wine tasting.

Annie, by "Martini" we don't mean the brand of vermouth. We mean the cocktail comprising gin (or vodka) with vermouth. Different spirits and different vermouths taste, uh, different. - jtaniel, Nov 3, 2015

How about "conjunto de vino" or even "grupo de vino"? Maybe "muestra de vino/martini"?

I left Spain when I was a child and never learned that expression. Hmmm. I don't even know what it means in English. The Mexicans I hang with only drink beer. Así as la cotton pickin' vida. - Daniela2041, Nov 3, 2015

I just returned from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where I attempted to order "un vuelo" at the local microbrewery, not having read this question before traveling. I can attest to the fact that the expression is not understood at all! However, the English word "flight" worked perfectly.
