Hey guys, how is it going?

I suggest a practice to learn about my country: Peru, (to start with it, then we can do the same practice with each country that interests you).

If you want to add yours, you need to post a map and an image of each region of Peru, for you to complete the outline map.

You have to include the name of the región that you will post.

You could include a sentence in order to practice your Spanish or English.

Click on newest for view the last post and encourage others with a vote please.

This practice will conclude when we complete all departments of Peru.

Lambayeque

Lambayeque is known for its totora horses; but I prefer its food and archaeology.

"... but I prefer its food and archaeology." sounds more natural in English. Your second picture shows a natural landscape the word for this is "topography" in case you want to add that. Keep posting, I know some members have been to Peru, - Jubilado, Nov 2, 2015
No my friend, this is a pyramid of Túcume, Lambayeque. :) Thank you for corrections mate Jubilado. - crucesignatus, Nov 2, 2015

I want to go to the fishing village where the film 'Undertow' was shot. I don't know where it is, but most likely it should be located on the coast. It's a good film, directed by Javier Fuentes-León and what I really like is that I can understand quite well what the people in the village say and that's why I want to visit it.

Loreto is the largest region of Peru, and there was a time when I thought that I would like to visit such a place and see all the animals and plants of the tropical forest. Now I understand that it would not please me to visit there, because I don’t like hot, humid places. But without a doubt, it is a very beautiful and itneresting place.

"that I always forget the name and location of" or "of which I always forget the name and location" - the first is more common, the second more proper sounding. :) - bosquederoble, Nov 13, 2015
