Difficulty with Spanish
Hi I am having difficulty formulating a sentence. I am very confused as to where the verb goes and also the adjective. More importantly, I am having a difficult time formulating a question. They do not tell me the rules to Spanish Grammar and I feel that I am not catching on. It is really getting frustrating, I am learning new vocabulary, I just cannot form a sentence. Can someone explain this to me or point me in the right direction.
Thank You

Hola JD
What you have requested is somewhat outside the scope of what we can put into an answer in this format. What you need is a beginning course in Spanish--either a high school course with a competent teacher, maybe a community college course if you are old enough. You can however at any age begin our free lessons at this link:

jdraper, that's why I advise people not to worry about grammar. Instead, I advise to start translating a novel from Spanish to your native language.

Hi JdRaper, You are very brave to ask that question as so many people don't want to admit that they are having difficulties learning another language. It is certainly challenging. Try not to only learn lists of vocabulary as you need to learn to understand the word in context. If you are starting out in the language www.yabla.com/spanish is a good place to start. This is a website of Spanish videos with the Spanish script and translation underneath it. You can print out the script and read it aloud. There are so many strategies to enable you to learn the language. Most importantly, you need to be patient and to persevere. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. Good luck.
