Why use estos instead of estes in these 2 examples:
- un día de éstos
- Estos sombreros...

Hola, Spanish XYZ the reason that it is "éstos" is because that is the plural of "éste."

And ain't that a funny rule? Surely designed to baffle and confuse the non native speaker. Isn't it bad enough that the masculine is este and the nueter is esto. Someone really had some fun with demonstrative pronouns. - gringojrf, Oct 30, 2015
