Help with vocabulary :)
Hi,
I was reading an article about *locuciones verbales* and I came across these ones(below on left) and their meanings (below on right), but aside from the article, I can't find the meanings that are shown below:
- "Írsele" = olvidar
- "Medírsele" = atreverse
Would anyone be able to verify the meanings of these and maybe give me some example sentences?

If I understood correctly, the examples are a little confusing.
"Írsele" = olvidar
The form írsele is used in infinitive form. Example: Írsele la cabeza a alguien but this can't be used in a conversation. If you want to use it in a conversation you can say:
Se le fué la cabeza -> He/she lost his/her mind
In the way you wrote:
Estaba pensando en algo, pero se me ha ido -> I was thinking about something but I forgot it.
"Medírsele" = atreverse
The other example have no sense for me. Maybe it is used in Mexico but not in Spain. For us, the verb medir is: to measure or to match.
El Sevilla FC se midió al Manchester City el pasado miercoles
I agree with txustaboy that your use of medirse makes no sense, not in Mexico either, but for ovidarse we also say: Se me fue la onda (I lost my train of thought).
