Translating "rolled fingerprint"

Translating "rolled fingerprint"

How would you translate a "rolled fingerprint" into Spanish? I am having a hard time figuring out the correct way to translate this. For the action, imagine having your fingerprints taken (covered in ink, rolled onto a page, etc.). This is the action I am trying to describe. The finger is "rolling" onto the paper, or being rolled by someone. I have found a few possible ways to translate this but would like someone else's opinion. Thank you!

I believe that they use "huellas dactilares rodadas y planas" Sometimes without the "planas"

I was thinking of using "huellas dactilares laminadas", but I would still need a verb to describe rolling (ie. 'roll the finger from one edge to the other'). - kcyprian, Oct 12, 2015
Daniela - thank you for your response! I has not even considered "rodada" for a possible translation but am going to try it out. I have some people working in criminology willing to proofread this as well, so we'll see how it goes. Again, thank you! - kcyprian, Oct 12, 2015
