Interesar Question...

Hi, in my question on my homework it asks me to translate a phrase containing the verb interesar. Since it behaves like gustar, I am a little unsure of how I should write it. See below:

Should my answer be like this

Mi hermana y yo / interesar / las revistas de la moda Mi hermana y yo nos interesan las revistas de la moda.

or like this

Mi hermana y yo / interesar / las revistas de la moda Mi hermana y yo interesan las revistas de la moda.

Or none of the above. Thanks in advance!

The only way to say "Mi hermana y yo ..." is to add the verb to be right after "yo"

---> Mi hermana y yo estamos interesados en las revistas de moda.

If you want to take Julian's advice, it should go like this:

A mi hermana y a mi nos interesan las revistas de moda.

Good luck in your Spanish language studies.

Your first answer is the correct word order, but you need: "A mi hermana ......................"

Or: "Nos interesan las revistas .............." if prior context has identified you and your sister.
