I am looking to translate some engineerign terms from english to Spanish and help is appreciated.

Estoy buscando traducir terminologia de ingenieria de Ingles a Espanol, y necesito ayuda para cerciorarame de que este empleando las palabras correctas.

Volante can be either a flywheel or a steering wheel. If you need to make the distinction clear, you can say volante de inercia, but if the text refers repeatedly to flywheel, you could probably shorten it to just volante.

I think I've seen lengüeta used for spline in an automotive context.
