Where are adjectives placed in spanish?

In Spanish, adjectives are usually placed after the nouns they describe (or qualify)

eg:

1 La casa grande = The big house

2 El perro blanco = The white dog

Some adjectives are placed before the noun they qualify (describe) such as numbers

eg: Tengo dos hermanas = I have two sisters.

Viven en un apartamiento en el quarto piso

= They live in an apartment (flat) on the fourth floor.

Some adjectives can be placed either before or after the noun but their exact position changes the meaning of the sentence.
