Look at all the fine help you got! If you come back please fill out your profile with gender, and level of proficiency in Spanish (I'm guessing beginner) and English (I'm guessing fluent). It is a courtesy to those who answer your post. - Jubilado, Sep 16, 2015

He gave his answers.

¿En serio? ¿Estas son tus respuestas? Ay, carramba.

1)Cuando estás en su consultorio, ¿te habla el médico? Current answer (wrong): Sí, yo le hablo con médico.

When you are in the medical office, does the doctor talk to you?-Yes, I to him talk with the doctor.

I might try something like- Sí, (el médico) habla conmigo, or Sí (el médico) habla a mí. Yes, (the doctor) talks with me, or to me. Don't know what version you need though, sorry. In real life you would never include (el médico) as it is redundant. But I never know with these exercises. i would say Sí, habla conmigo.

2)¿Te examina la garganta? Current answer (wrong): Sí, yo me examino mi garganta.'

Does he examine your throat? Yes, I examine my own throat,

Maybe- Sí, me examina la garganta. Yes he examines my throat. Maybe you need the yo for your homework, but don't use it in real life please.

3)¿Te da su diagnóstico? Current answer (wrong): Sí, yo me diagnóstico.

Does he give you his diagnosis. Yes to me diagnosis ( you don't even have a verb here).

Maybe - Sí, me da su diagnóstico- yes he gives me his diagnosis/

\

4) ¿Te receta unas tabletas? Current answer (wrong): El médico me da las tabletas.

Does he prescribe you some pills. The doctor gives me the pills. This one is at least not nonsensical.

Probably Sí, (el médico) me receta unas tablas. Yes the doctor prescribes me some pills.

Don't change more than you need to. Sorry I cannot predict whether you need redundant subjects or not- in real life you do not want them, but in exercises they seem to like them at times.

I am an intermediate level learner, and may have made some mistake in what I wrote, but I am convinced it falls in the category of "any help"

¿Te receta unas tabletas? **Sí, me receta unas tabletas.** Again, thank you SO MUCH for the help, I wish you best of luck in your Spanish learning endeavors - topblackbird, Sep 15, 2015

The complemento indirecto is a noun which answers the question "TO WHOM is the verb being performed?". The pronombres de complemento indirecto are words which are used to replace that noun.

For instance: In "¿Te habla el médico?" (Does the doctor talk to you?), the answer for the question I've satated above in capitals is "me" (the English "me").

So, the answer in English would be "Yes, the doctor talks to me". Let's translate it step by step:

1) Si, el médico me habla a mi. Where "me" and "a mi" are redundant, so we don't say "a mi":

2) Si, el médico me habla. Where "me" is acting as the pronombre de complemento indirecto, replacing the noun which answers the question "to whom...".
