Use direct object pronouns to say whom Catalina looks at as she speaks.

Model: él Catalina lo mira.

1.) nosotros ___________

2.) tú ______________

3.) ustedes _____________

4.) vosotras _______________

5.) yo ___________________

Rewrite the second sentence in each pair, placing the pronoun in a different position.

Model: Me gustan los pantalones. ¿Quieres verlos? ¿Los quieres ver?

1.) Quiero las blusas. Voy a comprarlas. ______________________________

2.) El precio es veintidos euros. Tengo que pagarlos. ___________________________

3.) ¿Tienes un vestido nuevo? Quiero mirate. ______________________________

4.) Tengo ropa nueva. Necesito llevarla mañana. ______________________________

I learned this in school today but I'm completely clueless. Can anyone help? Doesnt need to supply answers.

First of all: there shouldn't be that "él" before "Catalina". It's like saying "THE Leonardo's never won an oscar".

Then, the logic is simple, use the pronouns to replace the noun you are talking about, as you'd do in English:

Nosotros = we, but you don't say "she looks at we", you say "she looks at us" instead. Also, us = nos, so you say "Catalina nos mira".

For the second exercise you have those verbs which make reference to the noun their are affecting (this noun is the direct object) by ending with a pronoun. All you have to do is move the pronoun to the beginning of the sentence. It'll have the same effect (replace the noun you are talking about in the first sentence).

Quiero la blusa (blusa = noun).

Voy a comprarla (comprar = verb + la = pronoun).

La voy a comprar (comprar = verb + la = pronoun).

The last two sentences can be translated to "I'm going to buy it" (where "it" is also a pronoun).
