Pollo faja frente a pollo deshebrado

Grilled chicken versus shredded chicken

Español:
Me encanta buenos tacos.

I believe him, but I cannot find any Spanish resource that equates "Faja" to "Grilled", and so, I am hoping a native speaker can offer me some insight here.

International:

I'm sure you tried translators already and know that some give "chicken strip" for "pollo faja." - AnnRon, Sep 6, 2015
Yup, I think "faja" is a strip, and thus "fajitas" are little strips. "A la parrilla" is the only way to say "grilled" that I've heard. - jtaniel, Sep 6, 2015
I wonder if "a la brasa" is another way to say "grilled." - Sassette, Sep 7, 2015

I agree with jtaniel. A la parrilla or a asado are most common although a carbón or a leña are also used here in Mexico for grilled chicken. Also there is rostizado for roasted chicken (often roasted over charcoal/carbón). These are what you will see in Baja. I have never seen or heard fajas. Regional differences.
