presentar + a or not?

Question

Do you include the "personal 'a'" when translating: "She introduces her friend."? Which is correct? Ella presenta a su amiga. OR Ella presenta su amiga.

So the answer is yes, you include the personal a.

Personal a and direct objects

A direct object noun in Spanish is joined to its verb directly, without a preposition, if it refers to a thing. Direct object nouns that refer to specific people are preceded by a. The use of a is called personal a:

-No veo a tu abuela I don't see your grandmother

-¿Alquilaste la película? Did you rent the film?

In the above examples, the nouns abuela and película are direct objects.
