How do you say "launch script" in Spanish?
I work in web development and we often use computer scripts to automate certain things. I'm wondering if there's a good way to say "launch script" in Spanish? As in, "today we used the launch script to launch 1200 websites."
Also. "We need to update the launch script to handle errors a little better."
Thanks.

Hi there!
Do you manually execute the script or does it run itself like a daemon? Scripts that execute on startup are usually called scripts de inicio regardless of what they do.
On the other hand, I myself name them according to the task the accomplish. Launch script == Script de lanzamiento/inicio/ejecución. ¿Por qué? Porque lanza/inicia/ejecuta.
Anyway, how do you launch 1200 websites with one script? Please allow me the joke:

Not an area I know well enough to say for sure, but I will put a little information in case it is helpful
From Wikipedia:
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Script
En informática, un script, archivo de órdenes, archivo de procesamiento por lotes o guión [cita requerida] es un programa usualmente simple, que por lo regular se almacena en un archivo de texto plano.
Launch is usually: Lanzamiento
So I wonder if script de lanzamiento would work.
Google search of that in quotes returns 15,300 entries, and glancing through the first few they seem appropriate.
That of course does not make it right. But maybe this will incite comments from others.
I would use 'script de lanzamiento'
Script inicial (or "de partida").
Many words related to programming, are the same in Spanish (or at least people will understand): e-mail, plugin, script, macro...
Gracias por todas de las contestas.
script de partida
Bumping this up, Slusher. Hopefully, you will receive an answer soon.
