Subjunctive with a NO in the phrase

I know that in the case of quiero que you use the subjunctive...but what if I want to say no quiero que. Would I use the subjunctive because it is still a want or would I use the indicative form simply because of the no? This has been a question of mine for a very long time!

Is not "no quiero" a want or desire? I think it's just another way to say what you desire.

the NO doesn't changes the fact that whatever that follows "que" would be in subjunctive, because you are sayng No to querer, that It's not the subjunctive. Example:

I want that you (would) learn Spanish. v/s I don't want that you (would) learn Spanish

doesn't changes the subjunctive after the "that".

Another simple way to see that, is that doesn't want is a "act of want" It self, stressing that you want the opposite.
