Subjunctive outside usual rules (I think)

Question

I hesitate to ask this but sometimes I come across the use of the subjunctive where it is not obvious to me why it is used. The following is taken from an oficial notice about renting property quoted in a grammer book and is referring to the deposit "........ se puede exigir una cantidad que va del 15al 40% del importe total que correspondA al precio contratado" Muchas gracias

There can exist many factors because they don't pay you that they ofered You. Is for this that they use the sudjuntive form to leave open this posibility

The "precio contratado" Itself isn't clear at that moment. So the "5% al 40%" of the price of something that It is even not specificated hardly could be a certainly. That's why here is used subjunctive.

But if you would use "correspondE" instead "corresponA" It would be understood too, but being strics, you can ask your self in the case of use "corresponE"; corresponding to what, if the price isn't scpecificated?, and, if such a case happen, the contract Itself It is not already signed.
