Flashcard search not complete

Flashcard search not complete

Hi- I read through "hombredehielo"'s post from several years ago but did not find the complete solution although my problem is similar.

There are a group of us using Spanish Dict for vocabulary flashcards. I want my fellow students to find my flashcards. I put my name "Ellyn" in the title and made my flashcards listed. Still only one set can be found using the search box on the flashcard initial screen while there are several sets that I have created including my name.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get all the sets to be visible?

Thank you

As Ian says, it will not find anything done since about mid 2012. But they are accessible through your profile page- you just press more under the user flashcard. I can see seven pages (15 per page) that you have made using that method. :) - bosquederoble, Aug 25, 2015

The search function on SD is not as good as it could be.

Go to your SD profile - scroll down and you can see a link to your flashcards,

Give that link to anyone who wants to see your flashcards.

Update - it only shows one set of your flashcards. This might have something to do with the 2012 SD update.

When did you post it?

Good luck.

The link I typed above gives 7 pages of them. Including some that I have done. :) - bosquederoble, Aug 25, 2015
Thank you for your response. Too bad the search function isn't very functional. - ecorey, Sep 13, 2015

Hurray for Ecorey!
enter image description here 101 sets of cards currently available!

I've added the link below that Bosque suggested in the comments above.

Got a question. I just gave flashcards a try for the first time. In the recall section I notice that there are accented letters that I can click on but I do not see the upside down question mark. I don't see the upside down exclamation mark either. What do I do if I need those punctuation marks, as I needed in ¿co?mo esta? and ¿Qué tal?

AS my personal keyboard short cut doesn't work in that box (I use US International keyboard that uses alt shift ?) just as it doesn't in this box, I have to put it in word, and cut and paste. - bosquederoble, Aug 26, 2015
But the real answer is I don't do the recall sections on sets that have punctuation that I cannot easily access, and I do not make my personal sets with such. - bosquederoble, Aug 26, 2015
Thanks, bosque. I wonder why SD cannot include those punctuation marks like they do on the home page. Still a fun game! - Sassette, Aug 26, 2015
For the comments boxes, I pop it in the answer this question box and then cut and paste it. As that is at the bottom of every thread. But you can't do even that on flashcard pages. - bosquederoble, Aug 26, 2015
bosquederobl Let's agree to send this issue to feedback.:) It seems to be resistant to any solution. - Sassette, Aug 27, 2015
