Apparently there are many, many ways to say "join" in Spanish. I am wondering how to say join a gym. ¿unirse? ¿ingresar en? ¿hacerse socio?.... The next time I go on vacation to a Latin American country I want to be able to inquire about getting a temporary membership to a gym. So I want to be able to ask something like, is it possible to join this gym on a temporary basis? How much does it cost to join for 1 month? Are the following okay?:
- Me preguntaba cuánto costaría (o saldría) por unirme al/ingresar en el/hacerme socio del gimnásio/club por un mes.
- Me preguntaba si fuera posible unirme al/ingresar en/hacerme socio del gimnásio/club de modo temporario.

Something a little more natural: ¿Si es posible hacerse miembro del gimnasio por sólo un mes, cuánto costará?
