I think you should include a Spanish translation with the entry. Don't you? And all posts should be done in both languages. I like this idea and will participate later. - Jubilado, Aug 8, 2015
Thank you for the observation Jubilado. :) - crucesignatus, Aug 8, 2015
I agree with jubilado and have done so in my post. - ray76, Aug 8, 2015

This is a Viking Boat - Gokstad Skibet in Oslo.

When I first saw it I did not think what a great boat or about the Viking stories,

I thought "what a beautiful shape - it is a work of art."

Hello Ian, it is in a monastery? - crucesignatus, Aug 8, 2015
Cruce, I think (maybe Ian does too) that this shape sends our vision and thought upward much like a cathedral or monastery does. - Jubilado, Aug 8, 2015
It had that effect on me Jubilado - but it is in a museum - churches are not the only places the spirit soars. - - ian-hill, Aug 8, 2015
@ian-hill vote for me I did for thee. - Jubilado, Aug 8, 2015

In many African churches, the adornment is in the hearts of the believers and God's creation that surrounds them.

The Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia, has a garden center whose main attraction is the beautiful bonsai trees cultivated by the monks.

(I don't know whether I should add an "s" to "bonsai" since it is a Japanese word.)
