There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. Use today's Word of the Day in your own Spanish sentence (and include the English translation as well). Try to use the word in a completely new way and vote on the sentences you like best. The winner will be chosen based upon the correct use of the word as well as the number of votes.

Make the corrections suggested by other users and moderators in the comments section (try not to use personal pronouns unless absolutely necessary). Use your own words! (Don't use a translator, copy from a book, use song lyrics, etc.) Please keep political, religious or personal statements to a minimum. This is a practice game.

La interacción nuclear fuerte es una fuerza tan fuerte por distancias muy cortas que no es posible encontrar un quark "soltero" (no apareado)- la energía necesario necesaria para separar quarks simplemente se convierte en más quarks para conjuntarse con los quarks que se han separado- esta fuerza también mantiene unidos los neutrones y protones en un núcleo, pero la distancia entre ellos es más larga y por eso sí es posible dividir un átomo.
The strong nuclear interaction is such a strong force over very short distances that it is not possible to find a quark by itself- the energy necessary to separate quarks is simply converted into more quarks to match up with the quarks that have separated- this force also keeps the neutrons and protons together in a nucleus, but the distance between them is larger and so it is possible to divide an atom.
