use of aún

use of aún

" Hace dos meses que no he hablado español. Que ahora es mejor sería raro. creo que es igual o aún peor."

" I haven't spoken spanish for 2 months. That its better now would be strange. I think it's the same or even worse "

Is aún used right here?

(If you see any other faults in this sentence you can also point them out ofcourse. Or if I could make it sound more natural by saying it a different way. )

Without the accent. Aun = even; Aún = still

I agree with Gringo, but also in the second part the two tenses should correspond with one another and to be more natural I would change a couple of words: " Hace dos meses que no hablo español. Que fuera ahora mejor sería raro, creo que sigue igual o aún peor."

thanks! but can you maybe explain why you use the subjunctive here? and then why the past subjunctive? - BenVP, Jul 28, 2015
or is it so that if you want to express the conditional tense in the subjunctive, you use the past subjunctive? - BenVP, Jul 28, 2015
