In a sentence like this, you only say "Yo..." if you are going to contrast yourself with others, by saying, for example: "Yo... y mi hermano..." (I am.... and my brother...). If you say "yo" here, but then you don't finish your contrast, it feels like your left the forum before you could finish.

Do not use "yo" unless you know what you are doing. If in doubt, omit it!
