Extra en español

Question

For our Spanish learners here, do you ever find yourself a little bogged down in your grammar books and with doing written exercises but when it comes to actually speaking Spanish or listening to a live person you struggle a little?

If you would like some lighthearted audio practice the 'Extra en español' series on Youtube is a nice little diversion.

If you are very conscientious you can also use the quizzes and flashcard sets that I'm making from each episode to make sure that you're taking in what you're hearing too.

I've just started doing this series with one of my highschool students and I have to say that her pronunciation, enjoyment level and mastery of Spanish has improved immensely since starting this exercise.

For anyone else in the same boat I hope that these resources will help.

I know this post is more than a year old but I love "Extra" (and that's why I noticed the post in the first place). Good advice Kiwi - more people should watch this series, designed for learners at an intermediate level.
