Cuando mi esposa intenta ir a algún lugar con sus amigas, siempre me pregunta "¿Quieres ir con nosotras?" y siempre le respondo "No, me parece una cosa sólo para las chicas" y me quedo en casa para estudiar español- pero si las parejas de sus amigas van, normalmente tengo que ir también.

When my wife plans on going somewhere with her friends, she always asks me "Do you want to come with us?" and I always respond "No, it seems like something for girls only" and stay at home in order to study Spanish- but if the partners of her friends go, normally I have to go as well.
