Pronunciation Tips Please
What would be your top tips to improve pronunciation. I don't mean listen to the telly or radio or speak with native speakers. Are there some 'tricks' to improve one's pronunciation. Anything to do with syllables or where to put the stress in a word etc ?

Well, to begin with, get used to write phonetically using the following key:
a = ah
e = eh
i= ee
o=awe
u = oo
d = th
Ex:
La mesa es verde = lah MEH-sah ehs VEHR-theh
Second, read that out loud while recording yourself and then listen to the recording.
Do it many, many time. With a little practice and paying attention what you are doing, pretty soon you'll find out how you get closer and fix your pronunciation, etc...
The greatest benefit of all this, is that you are also going to gain fluency while speaking whole paragraphs.
