How do you translate "STEM" into Spanish or do you leave it as such?

We’ve got the top metros for STEM workers. Tenemos los más superior áreas metropolitana para trabadores de STEM.

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education. This acronym is widely used in the Unites States. So I wonder if its okay to leave it as STEM in the Spanish sentence?

No, you should translate it the first time it appears in the text, and then you can write the acronym:

Tenemos las mejores áreas (?) para los trabajadores de la educación en ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (CTIM o STEM por sus siglas en inglés).

I agree with you although I've never heard of this stem. Obviously it has to be translated and the the acronym used, like aids, for example , or dna. Sorry i can't use capitals, the site won't let me. n - annierats, Jun 19, 2015
