Talking about El tiempo.
I have noticed that when talking about the weather you cant use all the same for all the weather conditions.
Firstly, when talking about (it was) how come its different for some? It was sunny estaba soleado It was windy hacia viento
Then for it will be..
It will be sunny sera soleado It will be rainy estara lloviendo It will be snowy se nevando
Is it just a case of remembering in what order they come in? Or is it a logic behind it? Thanks.

You don´t have to remember any "order" of these terms. A weather prognosis uses different terms from one day to another only to avoid repetition. A sunny day can be: Habrá sol, Habrá calor, Será caluroso, Agradable con mucho sol, etc, etc.
I have never read a prognosis that uses gerund, so it would be: Será lluvioso, nevoso, etc, etc.
Well, the wind blew, it thundered, it was sunny, the sun shone, there were a few clouds, it was a cloudy day with mist, the mist thickened to fog, , then it rained, rain fell, a fog descended, it hailed, it rained cats and dogs, it's boiling hot, it's freezing cold, it's brass monkey weather... The temperature fell to minus 2 Celcius. then it warmed up and there was only a slight groundfrost..
Do you see what I mean?
