Grammar error, May 10 Word of the Day, Sentado, example sentence.
I memorize sentences from your Word of the Day entries, to improve my grammar and syntax. I appreciate the more advanced grammar in many of the sentences.
Your May 10 WOTD was Sentado. http://www.spanishdict.com/wordoftheday/2386/sentado . The example sentence:
La asistente de vuelo le pidió a los pasajeros que permanecieran sentados.
I couldn't figure out why the indirect object pronoun was "le" not "les" since the IO is los pasajeros, a plural. It turns out that your sentence has an error; the pronoun should be "les". I'm not the type to nitpick grammar normally, but in a definition on dictionary site I believe it's warranted.
The truth is, I can't believe that I discovered a grammar error in my L2 on a dictionary site. I'm feeling inordinately proud of myself today, so thank you for that delight.
