La vamos a pasar bien... What's the grammar here ?
I heard a new phrase today and don't understand the word order. The phrase is 'la vamos a pasar bien', meaning 'we intend to enjoy it'. What I don't understand is the position of 'la'. I take it 'la' refers to a week's holidays (given the larger context of the conversation). However, my previous grammar learning would suggest this phrase should be rendered as 'vamos a pasarla bien'.
I realise the positioning of the pronoun can sometimes be variable and optional, e.g. with the present progressive. However, I don't think I ever encountered its prepositional use with 'vamos' or other 'ir' conjugations like this. Or maybe I have and I've simply forgotten.
Is 'la vamos a pasar bien' the same as 'vamos a pasarla bien' ?
Could I likewise say 'lo voy a hacer' for 'voy a hacerlo' ?
Gracias por ayudarme ![]()

'la vamos a pasar bien' is the same as 'vamos a pasarla bien' and 'lo voy a hacer' is the same as 'voy a hacerlo', they are just 2 different ways to say the same thing.
