Hi Everyone, "--- Thank you for the update, please keep us posted---"

i get stuck trying to translate this saying.

the word "update" in spanish is "actualizacion". but to me that sound like , update as upgrade software. I maybe wrong about that.

basically i want to thank the co worker , or customer, for providing the up to date information about something. and I want to keep the dialog going by asking to provide a "follow up" i haven't found something that sounds correct. Maybe it's because i'm not used to business/technical spanish. But the tranalation from spanish Dict doesn't seem right. Anyone use , this phrase at work from time to time? and could provide a real world translation? The phrase i'm trying to translate is in the title of this post. Thank you

Pacho, the pronoun "I" is still always capitalized in English according to standard English orthography which we ask that you use when posting here. Thanks for your cooperation. - Jubilado, May 26, 2015

I agree that "actualización" isn´t the best choice in this case. I would say: Gracias por la comunicación y favor de mantenernos informados.

Thanks Jubilado. I was being lazy to correct my English typing.
