I have checked your sentences and made some corrections! Good work... most of it is corrext! You need the words in brackets: un gato or Tuve una mascota se llamaba gato gordo otherwise it does not make complete sense.

Tuve un gato se llamaba 'gato gordo'. Ahora, no tengo mascota. Vivía en Illinois. Todavia vivo en Illinois. Soy más grande que antes.
