How to say thank you to a group of friends both men and women in Spanish? Gracias amigos or amigas.......?!

When you are talking to a mixed group of people consisting of both men and women or boys and girls, you should always use the masculine form (the masculine form always takes precedence!): amigos
so, Gracias, amigos
However, in formal situations, Spanish people also say:
Señores y Señoras, estoy encantado de dar la bienvenida a ....(etc)
= Ladies and Gentlemen, I am delighted to (it gives me great pleasure) to welcome .....
