Expression: Off scale?
I tried to write a sentence today, using the English expression: Off scale.
How do you express this in Spanish?
I don't mean singing out of key , fuera de escala, I mean that somebody weighs so much, or, so little that their weight doesn't register, they are ' off scale'. Out of the normal system.

Out of the normal system.
For this I would say: Fuera de lo normal. This would work for various situations, although I have never heard "Off scale".
How about using either of the following verbs:
rebasar = to pass o sobrepasar = to exceed
In order to express the idea in a different way?
I personally think that the verb sobrepasar would be the best/most suitable option but I am open to correction, as always!
ex: El gato (o la gata) ha sobrepasado / sobrepasó los límites de la báscula (o pesa) de baño.
= The cat has exceeded/exceeded the limits of the bathroom scales.
Or if you want something closer to the idea expressed by Julian, "fuera de los limites de la báscula (de baño)"
I hope this helps
