There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. Antes de ayer volví a mi casa en las marismas de Barbate y fue un placer ver el paísaje tan verde, que ya huele a primavera. Los olores de las flores, las hierbas y los árboles bajo un sol caluroso me dieron una bienvenida muy agradable.
The day before yesterday I returned to my home on the marshes near Barbate and it was a pleasure to see the green landscape which now smells of spring. The smells of the flowers, the grasses and the trees under a warm sun gave me a most pleasant welcome.

Actualmente la palabra Verde tiene un significado político porque es utilizado por partidos que enfatizar el medioambiente más de otros partidos. Los Verdes dicen que no podemos tener una economía saludable sin un medioambiente saludable. Creo que es una balanza que será difícil a alcanzar.
These days the word Green has a political significance because it is used by parties which emphasise the environment more than other parties do. The Greens say that we can't have a healthy economy without a healthy environment. I think that it is a balance which will be difficult to achieve.
