I think that you are talking about the verb "ver."

I have seen... He visto...

There is a verb conjugator on this site. L-click on the icon that looks like three lines and then L-click on "conjugation" which can be found at the top-left corner of the screen. Type in the verb "ver" and scroll down until you see the perfect tenses. - jphip, May 3, 2015

Hello Morgan,

Welcome to the SpanishDict forum smile

Jp is correct, visto is the past participle of the verb, ver = to see. wink (The past participle of ser = to be, is sido)

Example sentences:

1.Hemos visto tu flamante coche = We have seen your brand new car.

2.¿Has visto alguna vez el catedral de Gaudí en Barcelona?

= Have you ever seen the Gaudí Cathedral in Barcelona?

This past participle visto is used in combination with the present indicative tense of the auxiliary verb, haber (meaning, to have) to form the Perfecto compuesto de indicativo or Perfect Indicative.

He visto = I have seen

Has visto = You (familiar form) have seen

Ha visto = He /She has seen/ You (formal/polite form) have seen etc...

You can use the verb conjugator tool on Spanish Dict (via the drop-down Menu) to find out how to conjugate (form) the rest of this compound verb.

This particular verb tense: Perfecto compuesto is really only used by Spanish natives living in Spain. It refers to actions that have just happened/or have taken place a short time ago. For actions that happened some time ago the preterite is used! wink

I hope this helps smile

Corrijan mi español si necesario, por favor smile
