subjunctive? past tense???
Hola a todos!
I want to say: I doubt that his choice of setting was an accident or I doubt that he chose this setting by accident
I know that it's subjunctive, but I can't work out how to translate the past tense bit?
Dudo que su eleccion de escenario SEA un accidente? Dudo que eligiera este escenario por casualidad?
ayúdenme por favor!! ![]()

Your first English clause uses past subjunctive, so in Spanish you need to use fuera / fuese - not "sea". You second clause is OK.
