Dear Sandy,
Although our ways have crossed not so long time ago, I feel as you has been always there. We have shared a few but really important experiences which have been very helpful for me in difficult times. I must agree with all the other members on SD that you deliver happiness and friendship as you walk among us. It is no surprise to me that you have reached such an enormous and out-of-this-world amount of condecorations and badgets: they decorate your fuselage, my Rocketeer Lady!

Congratulations, those badges are the result of a lot of participation over a long time. I am glad that you have been able to come back to the site on a consistent basis- hopefully that is due to something positive in your life. It is always a pleasure to see any of you posts. And thank you very much for being willing to take on the picture of the day- that is a thread I enjoy much, and you can expect to see me on it regularly once my vacation is over.

What a long way you have come since those first few weeks when we tentatively
skyped each other both giggling as we spoke a word or two of spanish , and
a few short years down the track you are the major translator for all the
phrases in the SD 'Phrase book'. You do translations on the web as well as
helping to correct us here , open threads giving us links to all that SD has to
offer , your kindness and common sense is prodigious
