How to remember when to use ser and when to use estar

I liked the PLACE and DOCTOR acronyms for the use of ser or estar but does anyone have an easy way to remember which acronym goes with each verb?

I have never heard of this method, but I am very eager to hear this! This will be of much use to me if hc_jc can get a satisfactory answer!
