Why are some streets in spain called "cuesta"?
I'm living in Granada, Spain and a lot of street names have the word "cuesta" in them, e.g. Cuesta de Gomérez. What does cuesta mean in this context? I can't find a definition in Spanish Dict where cuesta is a noun...
