Is this sentence correct - beginner?
Can someone help me know which is correct for my story sentence
"demente por creer que aun existen Los Milagros"
Or "demente creer que aun existen Los Milagros"
Crazy to believe that miracles even exist
Is the first one correct or second? A friend said the first it would be the second because creer is "to believe" but I think so too?

Can you tell me why they use "por creer" instead of just "creer"?
Your original sentence in written form seems to be a clause, so it´s not a complete sentence even though it might be spoken this way. To make it complete you could say, ie: Se ha vuelto loco por creer que aún existen los milagros (He/she has become crazy by believing that miracles still exist).
Because of Jemamu´s sentence structure, por is not necessary.
However, life itself is a miracle, so they do exist and should not be confused with all the nonsense, fairly tales, and superstitions that come from religions.
It is better to use "locura" Es una locura creer que aún existen los milagros.
Demente is used for insane or lunatic or a crazy person
these 2 sentences have different meanings. "demente por creer que aun existen Los Milagros" he or she is out of his/her mind for (because of) still believing in miracles. while this sentence Or "demente creer que aun existen Los Milagros" (Es una locura creer que aún existen los milagros( It is crazy to believe that miracle still/even exist.
