In Scotland we say you can experience all four seasons in a single day. This means that our weather changes often. Post an expression to describe the weather. Try to use whole expressions and not just single words. Post a picture too.

The day is sunny, although there are some clouds. On the street it's terribly hot; but inside the bones are frozen.

So far, today has been a typical Spring day- it started with a very dark sky, then rained, it cleared and was sunny for a short while, darkened back up and hailed, cleared up and was sunny again, and now the clouds are returning.

In New England, we say, "If you don't like the weather, wait a bit". This has been attributed to Will Rogers and even Mark Twain.

I can't wait for this.

Here we have Autumn. The day started with dark clouds, lightning and rain. At ten o'clock it was sunny, and by the afternoon it was quite hot.

Today it was colder than a well diggers butt.

Today it is sunny, all day, even if it is a little cold now and it is very likely that I will be able to cut the grass, which I have to do before leaving for vacation on Friday.

Falda, you will appreciate this.

My father-in-law who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, told me about the weather, "If you can see Edinburgh Castle, it's going to rain. If you can't see the castle, it's raining.
