Expressing Frustration

Question

I was wondering if anyone could give me some common words or phrases used to express frustration in Spanish. For example, "gaaah!" or in one place where I lived "ay-a-day!" I'm looking for meaningless, inoffensive ways to express frustration.

Me preguntaba si alguien puede darme algunas palabras o frases común para expresar frustración en español. Por ejemplo, "gaaah!" o de un otro lugar he vivido "ay-a-day". Estoy buscando por palabras inofensivas y sin sentido para expresar frustración.

I would think "Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!" is pretty universal. But for Spanish, how about "Maldito!" = "Damned!" Great illustrations of its usage here on the SD translator.

I am not sure, but I think it is more widespread than "híjole" which I think is pure Mexico. I don't know how widespread though. :) - bosquederoble, Apr 9, 2015
