It depends on what you are looking for-

As a reference (very detailed, but it is a reference, not something to teach you in steps):

As workbooks, I found these helpful (I liked these ones from Dorothy Richmond pictured the best out of the series, but there are a few errors- I think she is a Canadian):

I also got this for vocabulary, it is a ittle annoying as it gives you one random regionalism, and does not tell you where it is from:

I never used a text book per se- I used the free stuff on the internet- here, Fred Jehle, and study Spanish primarily.

I would strongly recommend the two I pictured. Some of the others were redundant, or just not to my liking. I did the pronouns several times over the course of six months. i do not tend to make pronoun mistakes often. :) - bosquederoble, Apr 8, 2015

Hey guys, I purchased a few of the "Practice Makes Perfect" workbooks three weeks ago and thus far they have been great (especially the subjunctive and pronouns/prepositions one). I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thank you bosquederoble for your suggestion!

I would recommrnd Barron's 501 Spanish verbs! I have used this book and it's companion verb books in the French and Portuguese series and they are very helpful!

Listen to some songs on youtube, buy some Spanish books, watch tv. Make Spanish speaking friends.

I second this one ... it's awesome and I'm totally gutted because my new computer wiped the only copy I had of it off of my ipad :(
