Bosque I have always been under the impression that the correct form of those phrases are:

Do you like English? don't you?

You don't like English? do you?

So in my head the following would be the correct way. I am aware of the interrogative form...

I like English, don't you?

The only ways I know would be "Me gusta el inglés, ¿ (y) a ti (también, sí)?" :) - bosquederoble, Apr 8, 2015

chileno, in English I would say "You don't like English, do you?" and "You like English, don't you?" or emphatically "You do like English, don't you?" - jtaniel, Apr 9, 2015

"I like English, and you?" o "I like English, do you?" (si hablas del idioma, como sustantivo "the English" implica normalmente la gente.)

Me gusta el inglés porque es el único idioma que sé usar para expresar mis pensamientos con facilidad, pero también me gusta el castellano, y espero usarlo con facilidad algún día.

También por mayor parte, me gustan los ingleses- tanto mi madre como mi esposa nacieron en Inglaterra. Pero también mi suegra.
