Is this accurate Spanish?

Como está hoy? Lo siento, me español es no muy bien.

What I intend this to mean:

How are you today? I'm sorry, my Spanish is not very good.

¿Cómo está hoy? Lo siento, mi español no es muy bueno.

But when talking about someone´s ability of language we normally say "speak", so a more natural way would be: Lo siento, no hablo español bien.

I'm gonna follow Ray's idea of April Fools' day, and provide an interesting -I think so- accurate translation, to blow Spanish speaking people's minds in this same situation.

How are you today? I'm sorry, my Spanish is not very good: -¿Qué pasa? Perdona, pero yo, de español no hablo "ni papa". [Tip: drag the s of "qué pasa" as long as you want: qué passsssa...] (And watch their mouths open wide)
