Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone could help me to translate "they are going to have a match, which they are practicing for" into Spanish?

I think that it's something like this - "van a tener un partido, lo que están practicando..." - but I'm not sure!

Also, how would I say "he is about to drop his ice cream" in Spanish?

I would really appreciate any help - thanks!

I would say: Van a competir en un partido a lo que se están entrenado.

For the ice-cream sentence, I would use the variant of either translator 1 or 2.

Hello Lelibel,

Welcome to the SpanishDict forum smile

I believe that you could also say:

Van a participar en un partido à lo que están entrenando.

=They are going to have a match for which they are practising.

Está a punto de caer su helado.

=He is about to drop his icecream.

I hope this helps smile

Maybe:

Van a jugar un partido y por eso se están preparando.
